Basel Region Industry Night 2026

Optiswiss took part in the Basel Region Industry Night for the first time. The event on 24 April 2026 was a resounding success. With a new visitor record of 20,300 attendees in total, the event was exceptionally well attended. We also saw a great deal of interest at Optiswiss – nearly 1,000 visitors gained insights at our site.

Among the particular highlights were:

• The tour of our ongoing production, during which we were able to demonstrate our processes live.
• The children’s competition for younger guests. 

• The BIOMETRICS information area and live measurements on the OCULUS Myopia Master, accompanied by in-depth discussions about the human eye and the unique features of Optiswiss’s biometric lenses.

Overall, we received consistently very positive feedback from both visitors and the organisers of the Industry Night, which reaffirms our commitment.
