We take the first step at our production facility, implementing optimised processes that deliberately integrate ecological measures.
We harness the waste heat generated by our production facilities to produce process heat and to warm our buildings. In doing so, we conserve both water and energy. For a sustainable future.
Since 2021, Optiswiss has been reducing its carbon footprint through a new procurement policy and structured material inventories. Continuous efforts are being made to recude energy consumption and source 100 % renewable energy from Swiss sources for the eyeglass lens production.
